Lugano ist ein weiterer Flugplatz, der von den Piloten wahres Wissen und Können abverlangen. Da relativ hohe Hügel einen normalen Sinkflug auf die Piste 01 verhindern, wurde auch hier ein sogenanntes IGS - Instrument Guidance System - installiert. Mit 6.65° ist es mehr also doppelt so steil wie ein normales ILS (3°) und erfordert daher gute Vorbereitung und Beherrschung des eigenen Flugzeugs. |
